About Us

The Pearce family have farmed in the Puckeridge area for 45 years and now there are three generations of Pearce's involved in the business. We farm 1200 acres of arable land and have a beef cattle herd, the cattle often roaming the fields beside the farm shop.

The first strawberries were planted in 1978. The business has gradually grown and we now grow a large proportion of the strawberries under cover in order to protect them from the weather and prolong the growing season. There is also outside fruit to pick.

We grow asparagus, pumpkins and a wide variety of different squash both for eating and ornamental purposes.

Picnic tables are available for those who wish to spend a little more time having done their shopping.
